Apple announced the iPhone 3G at WWDC today, and it has everything that I had asked for.

• 3G
• GPS
• Better battery life
• Less expensive (8GB $199, 16GB $299)

The all-plastic phone is also now available in two colors, glossy black or white. Personally, the black looks very very appealing. There’s no doubt where I’ll be the night of July 11th.

We’ll all have to wait until July 11th to head into a retail store to pick it up. Apple won’t be selling it on their online store, at least not until after the launch.

The July 11th launch will also host the release of iPhone firmware 2.0 and the full SDK.

I’ve been working on a new layout/design/theme (v10) for the NWW Network website over the past few weeks and I’ve finally gotten to a point where I feel comfortable releasing a little preview of what it’s going to look like.

Although I migrated the same header image over from the old design (v9), everything else (except the logo, of course) is completely redesigned.

The new design is semi-Web 2.0, is much cleaner on the back end, finally standards complaint, iPhone/iPod touch compatible, and should be ready to launch very soon.
